Clyde Tucker is a principal researcher at American Institutes for Research (AIR). His research has focused on STEM education and the barriers minorities face in obtaining degrees and finding employment in STEM fields and industries. Dr. Tucker's interests include closing achievement gaps for minorities in STEM areas, as well as reading and writing, and his research examines the roles that teachers and academic standards play in closing these achievement gaps. He has extensive experience as a survey methodologist and is an expert in using statistical methods in the social sciences..
